E. Edwin Aune received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy from the University of Mississippi.  Eddie spent four years on the audit staff of a Jackson, MS CPA firm before returning home to Water Valley as a partner in a local CPA firm.  He and his partner opened an office in Oxford in 1983, where Eddie maintained his practice as a partner or owner of a local CPA practice.  On October 1, 2015, his practice was acquired by Watkins, Ward and Stafford, where Eddie continues to serve clients as a Senior Accountant.

Eddie works primarily with closely held business owners, assisting them with tax compliance and planning. He also has several years’ experience working with local non-profit agencies as well as working with attorneys in support of litigation and business transactions.  Eddie has served as an officer and board member on several local non-profits agencies during his professional career, and recently began serving as Treasurer for The Pantry, Oxford’s local food bank.

His wife, Cindy is an accomplished artist.  They have a son and two grandchildren who reside in The Woodlands, TX.
