Charlie earned a Bachelor of Science in Business degree from Belhaven University in 1985 and completed the Professional Accountancy program at Mississippi College in 1989. He holds a license as a Certified Public Accountant in Mississippi. He joined Watkins, Ward and Stafford in 2012.

Charlie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants.

With more than twenty-four years’ experience, Charlie’s practice is concentrated in the areas of tax and accounting services for individual, business, fiduciary and nonprofit organizations; audits for small business, retirement plans and nonprofit organizations.

Charlie is an active member of the First Baptist Church in Jackson.

He is married to Janet Spain, and they have two sons, Chad and Alex.
